With sadness, we report that J. Philip Gleason, former ACHA President and 2019 recipient of the ACHA Distinguished Scholar Award, passed away on January 17, 2024, in Evanston, Ill, at the age of 96.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 2:30 Eastern Time at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Notre Dame, Ind. His loved ones request that in lieu of flowers, you please consider donating to a charity that Dr. Gleason supported: Catholic Relief Services, Partners in Health, or the United Negro College Fund.
