Shea Prize Submissions

The John Gilmary Shea Prize is given annually to the author of a book, published during a preceding twelve-month period, which is judged by a committee of experts to have made the most original and distinguished contribution to knowledge of the history of the Catholic Church. Full information about the prize is available here.

Submission deadline: June 15, 2020 

To enter a book, you must:

  1. Complete the submission form below;
  2. Send three hard copies of the book to the judges on the prize committee via postal mail:
