Dear members and friends of the ACHA:
As 2011 comes to and end and so, too, my term in office, I write to ask for your continued support of the American Catholic Historical Association. This past year has been quite eventful as we moved ACHA headquarters from Catholic University of America to Fordham. During this 92nd year of existence, the Association awarded Graduate Student Travel stipends to individuals presenting papers at our annual and spring conferences, and three new awards were presented to distinguished scholars in the fields of Scholarship, Dr. Frank Coppa; Teaching, Dr. Ken Pennington; and Service, the Leadership Conference Women Religious.
In order to advance the work we have begun, I ask that you consider making a contribution to the ACHA this Holiday Season. Your financial assistance will allow us to support young scholars and recognize individuals who have served our discipline well for many years.
We are most in need of your help in the following categories: Presidential Scholarships for young historians, Award Monies for Distinguished scholars, and Membership stipends for Graduate Students. A contribution of $25 assists with our Graduate stipend, $50 underwrites our Distinguished Scholars program, and $75 endows our Presidential Scholarships. Of course, we would be happy to accept contributions of any size, and all contributions are tax deductible.
You can make a secure donation via our Web site. Simply navigate to our online donation page.
To mail in a contribution, please address your envelope to:

Thank you for your support, and I wish you a Blessed Christmas Season and a Happy New Year.
Sincerely,
Larissa Juliet Taylor, President
