At our joint spring conference with the Canadian Catholic Historical Association in Toronto, we awarded the second set of Presidential Graduate Fellowships to Molly Gallaher and Erin Bartram. Gallaher is working on her Ph.D. at the University of New Hampshire on “Canadian borderlands and French-speaking Catholics in the 19th and early 20th century Saint John River Valley.” Bartram is doing her Ph.D. at the University of Connecticut on “Jane Minot Sedgwick II and the World of American Catholic Converts, 1820-1890.” Congratulations to them both!
