The 2010 Annual Meeting of the ACHA’s was held conjointly with the AHA conference in San Diego from January 7-10, 2010. The AHA meeting’s theme was “Oceans, Islands, Continents.” The annual meeting of the Executive Council took place on Thursday evening with most of the Council present. Former ACHA President’s Robert Bireley SJ and Joseph Chinnici OFM were in attendance. Incoming President Steven Avella chaired the meeting when plane delays prevented William Jordan’s arrival in San Diego. The Council confirmed the election results for officers of the association, examined some of the new interactive features of the website and voted in favor of three new awards from the association that will be bestowed for the first time in Boston in 2011.
