Submission period open for 2016 Koenig Prize for Catholic Biography

The American Catholic Historical Association is pleased to announce that it is now accepting submissions for the 2016 Harry C. Koenig Prize for Catholic Biography.The Koenig Prize recognizes an outstanding biography of a member of the Catholic Church who has lived in any age or country. The prize consists of $1500, and the recipient will be recognized at the Association’s annual meeting to be held in Denver, Colorado, January 5-8, 2017.

Books to be entered in the 2016 competition must have been published in the 2014 or 2015 calendar years. Entries must first have been published in English. Applicants should send copies of their work to the following committee members:

The submission period ends April 30, 2016; all submissions must be postmarked by April 30th. The 2016 Koenig Prize recipient will be announced in the fall of 2016.
